The Nowra Rotary Club currently has 20 male and female members and covers a broad range of vocations and interests. To see what Rotarians do each week, click on the "Nowra Reports" link found on the left side of this page.
Plans for 2011 include continuing our Community Partnership with Corrective Services, repairing and maintaining both the bike and shelter sheds at Nowra High School, doing some work at Moorhouse Park, hosting the District Assembly in April, and hosting a fund raising business lunch for the Fred Hollows Foundation – all before change over in July!

Nowra has several ongoing projects and fundraisers but the one that really stands out is the annual sponsorship of two students from Honiara in the Solomon Islands. Every year, from January to March, the students are hosted by Rotarians and given the opportunity to see our beautiful part of Australia, practise their English and continue their studies by attending local high schools.

In March 2010 a contingent of Rotarians travelled to the Solomon Islands, and visited the Rotary Club of Honiara to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the interclub exchange. Click on the link to see all the photos: Solomon Islands visit 2010
The Club meets on Wednesdays at the Bomaderry Bowling Club, 6 for 6.30pm. If you're interested in attending a meeting, please contact us for further information.
