Solomon Islands Exchange:

For the last 40 years The Rotary Clubs of Nowra and Honiaria have worked together to allow senior school students from the Solomons to visit and be hosted in the beautiful Shoalhaven for 6 - 8 weeks. 

The advantages of this exchange are unique - the kids get to improve thier English, go to a local High School, and see parts of the world they would never have the opportunity to otherwise see.

Over the last 40 years Nowra Rotary has hosted around 80 students, and this year, to commemorate the 40th anniversary, a group of Nowra Rotarians visited the solomon Islands at Easter and attended a reunion of all the exchange students.  Look for the photos in the gallery!
